John Patton “Beau” Oliver Jr., 39

JULY 26 – John Patton “Beau” Oliver Jr., 39, of Farmville, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012. He was born in Norfolk and was a graduate of Cox High School in Virginia Beach. Mr. Oliver was a Federal Firearms dealer, and president of Dane Manufacturing.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Oliver of Farmville; mother, Jan Perry-Weber and stepfather, Dick Weber of Bells Island, Currituck, North Carolina; stepmother, Deona B. Oliver of Virginia Beach; half-sisters, Jacqueline A. Oliver, Madison B. Oliver, and Aven S. Oliver all of Virginia Beach; mother-in-law, Ellen Stott; father-in-law, Vern Dancy; sister-in-law, Cathy Dancy all of Virginia Beach; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John P. Oliver Sr., his maternal grandparents, Aubrey H. Perry Jr. and Eunice S. Perry, and his paternal grandparents, Harry D. Oliver Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Oliver.

The family would like to thank everyone for your love and support.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, at the Laskin Road Chapel of H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments with Father John Dorgan officiating.
