March 1 – Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to Russell Green, of Cumberland, celebrating on Sunday, March 4, and Nellie Moss, of Dillwyn, celebrating on Tuesday, March 6.

Pat Lankford, Barry Miles, Russell and Ester Boleyn, all of Cumberland, Timothy Wallace and Florence Banton, of Buckingham and Jane Cooke, of Brookneal, all enjoyed great bluegrass music by True Spirit of Richmond and Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver of Kingsport, Tennessee. On February 26 in the Appomattox County High School Auditorium. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Junior Midriff, of Cumberland, underwent outpatient surgery at Johnson-Willis Hospital in Richmond on Friday, February 24. He is said to be doing well as of this writing.

Pete and Annie May Miles, of Dillwyn, and Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, enjoyed a nice visit in the home of Gladys Toney in Richmond on Friday, February 17.

Welcome home to Jay Ownby of Dillwyn who returned home on Friday, February 24 after spending time in the hospital. He is said to be doing okay as of this writing.

Billy and Louise Boyles, of Amelia, visited in the home of his brother and his wife, James and Virginia Boyles, in Cumberland on Saturday, February 25.

Pete and Annie May Miles visited in the home of Junior and Nancy Midriff in Cumberland on Thursday, February 23. A nice time was had by all.

The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a non-profit organization will be sponsoring a one-day bus trip to the Gaither Homecoming at the Richmond Coliseum on Friday evening, April 27. Spreading God's Gifts Inc. of Buckingham is a non-profit local organization that extends help to individuals and families in their hour of need to these monthly meetings and held the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room at Taylor's Convenience Store in Dillwyn.
