Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Farmville, Virginia (the “Town Council”) will hold a public hearing in accordance with Section 15.2-2606 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, on the issuance of one or more series of bonds (the “Bonds”) by the Town of Farmville, Virginia (the “Town”). The Bonds are expected to finance water and sewer capital projects, including, but not limited to, the acquisition, construction and installation of a new water tank and waterlines (the “Project”) and to refund certain of the Town's outstanding bonds (the “Prior Bonds”). The estimated maximum principal amount of the Bonds is $22,500,000, of which approximately $4,500,000 will be used to finance the Project and approximately $18,000,000 will be used to refund the Prior Bonds.

The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 2012, before the Town Council in the Council's Chamber, Farmville Town Hall, located at 116 North Main Street, Farmville, Virginia.
