Meghan Brittany Huddleston, of Dillwyn, daughter of Tony and Tammy Branch Huddleston, and Fred Walter Allen, of Dillwyn, son of Tommy and Patty Catlett Allen, of Buckingham, announce their engagement.

Ms. Huddleston, a 2004 graduate of Southside Virginia Community College, is employed as a deputy clerk to the Board of Supervisors in Cumberland County.

Mr. Allen is a 2000 graduate of Buckingham County High School. He is employed as a utilities worker by Cumberland County.

A September 22 wedding is planned.
