Sept. 8 – The Darlington Heights Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual “Chicken and Pig Pickin'” on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 3 p.m.

Delicious barbequed chicken cooked by Tony Mitchell and pork barbeque prepared by the Heights Firemen will be available along with baked beans, coleslaw and bread.

There will be fun and games for children along with a bouncy house and face painting. Bands will include P.E. Turbo and Str8 Shooters of Forest.

Come out and enjoy and evening of good food, fun and fellowship while you support the Volunteer Fire Department! A $10 donation buys your dinner and entertainment!
