The Judith Randolph /Longwood Chapter of the DAR held its first meeting of the new year Sept. 13 at the Farmville-Prince Edward County Community Library. Dr. Nancy Vick, regent, along with other officers and committee chairman, presented a program entitled “DAR and You.” The American Spirit cake, decorarated with a miniature of the Constitution and a replica of the 9/11 flag, serves as a reminder of America's resilience and courage after 9/11.
