Gary Lang, an accomplished and prolific international director, and a film crew from History TV Canada and Storyline Entertainment interviewed Gen. Sam Wilson for a one-hour documentary, The Real Sherlock Holmes, which examines how Sherlock Holmes impacts the 21st Century, from criminology to popular culture. Their visit was prompted by Lang's discovery of Gen. Wilson's quote, “The real intelligence hero is Sherlock Holmes, not James Bond.” In the interview, the exploits of the legendary detective were linked to real world intelligence operations.
