The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors and the Virginia Department of Transportation will hold a joint Public Hearing to present a list of proposed improvements to the secondary road system of Cumberland County, for years 2011-2012 through 2017-2018. The Public Hearing will be held at 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard on Tuesday, June 14th, 2011 at the regular meeting of the Cumberland Board of Supervisors, in the Circuit Courtroom, located a the Cumberland Courthouse.

The list of proposed improvements will be presented in order of priority for funding in the 2011-2012 Fiscal Year Budget. Items on this list must be included in the adopted Six-Year Plan for the Fiscal Years 2011-2012 – 2017-2018.

Comments will be solicited from citizens concerning the order of priority for funding of items to be included in the 2011-2012 Budget, as well as the entire Six-Year Plan.
