On behalf of the Small Business Development Center at Longwood University, we would like to thank the community for their support of our market research survey. We have received over 1,200 completed online surveys. It is our hope to continue to receive as many completed surveys as possible. The surveys that we are collecting will be used to build a database of consumer statistics and business opportunities that will contribute to the economic development of Farmville. Results will also help us understand how to better market the area to visitors, generating repeat visits and increased business within Farmville.

Consumer input is vital for the successful completion of this research. The deadline for data collection is April 26, so the last opportunity for consumers to provide their input is quickly approaching. We have also been distributing business owner surveys to get the unique perspectives of those who do business in town. We want to remind you that all respondents' information is kept confidential and will be used only for our research purposes. All data will be presented in aggregate form with no reference to any individual respondent. When the research is completed results will be available to anyone who wishes to view it for free.
