Andrea Katherine Hull, daughter of Brian and Laura Hull, of Herndon, and Lieutenant (j.g.) Timothy Joseph Orth, USN, son of Geoffrey and Kathryn Orth, of Farmville, were married October 2 at the United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, MD.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Marissa Hull, sister of the bride, of Herndon. Matron of honor was Lesley Smith, of Jacksonville, FL. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Brown, cousin of the bride, of Prior Lake, MN, and Julia Simcox, of Centreville. Junior bridesmaid was Julia Motzel, cousin of the bride, of Cary, IL.

Best men were Andrew Orth, brother of the groom, of Farmville, and Neal Collins, of Farmville. Groomsmen were Lieutenant (j.g.) Cameron Mackley, USN, and Lieutenant (j.g.) Alex Williams, USN. Ushers were Ens. Scott Melanson, USN, Lieutenant (j.g.) John Smith, USN, Lieutenant (j.g.) Erich Schoen, USN, and Lieutenant (j.g.) Ted Trebing, USN. Sword bearers were 1st Lieutenant Brian Chadwick, USMC, 1st Lieutenant Andrew Nelson, USMC, Lieutenant (j.g.) Cameron Mackley, USN, Lieutenant Jared Mallis, USN, Ens. Scott Melanson, USN, Lieutenant (j.g.) John Smith, USN, Lieutenant (j.g.) Erich Schoen, USN, and Lieutenant (j.g.) Ted Trebing, USN.

Chaplain (Lt. Cmdr.) Jamie Stall-Ryan, USN, officiated. Readers were Alyssa Hillman, cousin of the bride, of Lake Orion, MI, and Scottie Byrd and Randi Byrd, cousins of the groom, of Roanoke. The wedding cake was made by Dr. Maria Milian-Silveira, godmother of the groom, of Farmville.

Andrea is the granddaughter of Bill and Judy Motzel, of Ormond Beach, FL, and Larry and Barbara Hull, of Wolfeboro, NH. She is a 2005 graduate of Westfield High School and a 2009 graduate of James Madison University and is employed as a personal trainer.

T.J. is the grandson of Esther Owen, of Roanoke, and the late Neil Owen, and the late Sarah and Carl Orth of Llanerch, PA. He is a 2003 graduate of Prince Edward County High School and a 2007 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.

The couple will live in Annapolis, MD, where T.J. will be an instructor in the Department of Seamanship and Navigation at the Naval Academy.
