November 30 – Belated Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to: Rev. Cameron Cloud, pastor of Hatcher Baptist Church in Cumberland, who celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 27, and Wilburn Whitehead and Alice Deane, both of Dillwyn, who celebrated on Tuesday, November 30.
Belated Happy Anniversary wishes go out to: James and Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland, and J.R. and Margy Smith, of New Canton, both couples celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 27.
Our prayers and thoughts go out this week to all those who are sick and shut-in.
Barry Miles, of Cumberland, Tom Snead, of Glen Allen, and his two daughters Karen Agnew and Cheryl Miles, both of Richmond, enjoyed a visit with Rebecca Moore at Brookview Lodge in Farmville. Snead, Agnew and both Miles enjoyed an evening of food, fun and fellowship at a Farmville Restaurant.
A Thanksgiving lunch was held at the home of James and Virginia Boyles in Cumberland on Sunday, Nov. 21. A large crowd attended and enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship.
Our sympathy is extended to the Martin Family of Colonial Heights. Dr. Clarence Wayne Martin, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 17. Dr. Martin served as pastor for thirteen years at the Upper Room Chapel in Richmond. A funeral service was held on Nov. 22. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
