Vows Exchanged

Mary Virginia Breault and Bryan Michael Gilkerson were married on June 26 in Lexington at Jackson Memorial Hall on the Virginia Military Institute campus.

The bride is the daughter of Frank and Valeria Breault, of Dillwyn. The groom is the son of Michael and Ellen Gilkerson, of Rawley Springs.

The ceremony was officiated by Pastor John Jantzi, of Mount Bethel Church of the Brethren, Dayton, and the Reverend Dr. Michael Fitzgerald, of Clifford Baptist Church, Amherst.

The bride was attended by Cary Robinson, of Staunton, as the matron of honor. The bride was also attended by her bridesmaids: Julianne Tise, of Suffolk; Janis Holcombe, of Stafford; and Carly Wiggs, of Norfolk.

The groom was attended by Jason Colaw, of Bridgewater, as the best man. The groom was also attended by his groomsmen: Ben Gardner, of Charleston, WV; Jonathan McGlumphy, of Blacksburg; and Brian Weaver, of Charlottesville.

The bride is a graduate of James Madison University with a Master of Arts degree in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. She currently works as a technical writer for a federal government contractor.

The groom is a graduate of the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University School of Education with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. He currently works as a social studies teacher in Shenandoah County.

The newlyweds reside in Timberville.
