W. T. Joyner, III Of Windsor Dies Saturday

MARCH 23 – Weyland Thomas Joyner, III, of Windsor, died Saturday, March 20, 2004.

Mr. Joyner was the owner of Import Car Services of Smithfield and an ensign veteran of the United State Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Alva Moore Joyner of Windsor;

two sons, Weyland Thomas Joyner, IV and McGregor Steele Joyner; his father, Dr. Weyland Thomas Joyner, Jr. of Hampden-Sydney; two sisters, Anne J. Sheehan of Atlanta, GA and Leigh J. Wynkoop of Durham, NC; two aunts, Phyllis Joyner of New York, NY and Dorothy Joyner of Acton, MA and an uncle, Ike Steele of High Point, NC.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at College Presbyterian Church, Hampden-Sydney. interment will follow in the church cemetery with Military Honors.

Remembrances may be made to the Hampden-Sydney Volunteer Fire Department or the Chuckatuck Volunteer Fire department.

Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, Farmvllle, is in charge of arrangements.
