Frank Rawlings, 79 US Army Vet Dies October 19

OCTOBER 21 – Frank A. Rawlings, 79, of Farmville, entered eternal rest peacefully in his home, on Sunday, October 19, 2008. His loving wife Audrey preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, Christopher Wayne Rawlings Sr. and wife, Brenda; a daughter, Deborah Lynn Quesenberry and husband, Jimmie; eight grand-children: Lisa, Thomas, Christopher, Christina, Jay, Britnie, Steven and Brian; six great-grandchildren and four brothers, David, Ralph, James and Daniel.
Mr. Rawlings was a self-employed plumber and a US Army veteran who served with the honor guard at Arlington National Cemetery, Fort Meyer.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, in Trinity Memorial Gardens, with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday (today) at Shorter Funeral Home.
