Elizabeth G. Franklin, 89 Of Farmville Dies Sat., July 11

PROSPECT, July 14 -Elizabeth Goin Franklin, 89, of Prospect, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Farmville. She was the wife of the late Floyd Franklin.

Mrs. Franklin was born in Pamplin, February 19, 1920 to the late Sam H. and Lucy Goin. She was retired from Craddock & Terry Shoe Corporation.

She is survived by two sisters, Thelma Carwile of Lynchburg and Lois Calhoun of Farmville.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday (today) at Prospect United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
