Celebration Of Life Service To Be Held For Earl T. Agee

ROANOKE, May 20 – Earl T. Agee, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 17, 2010. He was born in Farmville on June 11, 1929 to Lucile M. and C. T. Agee. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 1950. He worked as a teacher, professional photographer, as a sanitarian and his final career position was establishing Employee Assistance Programs through-out Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marian H. Agee; sister and brother-in-law, Loreen A. and Robert C. Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Luci A. and Bruce Wright.
Mr. Agee was a man of humor, creativity, musical gifts and gentleness. He was always a loving husband and father. He was remarkable in his deep faith and lifelong witness as a Christian.

A celebration of his life will be held at Brandon Oaks Chapel on Friday, May 21, at 2 p.m. Internment will be on Saturday, May 22, at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Farmville.
