Mau Named Longwood Head Baseball Coach

FARMVILLE — Longwood University Director of Athletics Troy Austin has announced the appointment of Ryan Mau as the fourth head coach of the Lancers’ tradition-rich baseball program. Mau, with 12 years of collegiate coaching experience, has been an assistant coach at the United States Naval Academy for the past four seasons, serving as the recruiting coordinator, as well as the pitching and catching coach.

PEFYA Team Earns Dixie Youth AA Machine Pitch State Runner-Up
FARMVILLE — The PEFYA Machine Pitch All-Star team advanced to the state tournament in Brookneal after winning the District 5 Machine Pitch Tournament on Sunday, June 22. The team went undefeated in the state tournament until the last day and came home as the Dixie Youth AA Machine Pitch State Runner-Ups.
