American Canoe Association Certified Instructors from Black Dog Paddle Company will be at the park on Sunday, July 13, from 5 to 7 p.m. to give a Basic (SUP) Stand Up Paddleboard class to make sure you are safe, comfortable and efficient while you paddle with an interpretive naturalist from the Park. On June 14 – 15, the descendants of Lizzie and Maxie Wade from Delaware, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington D. C., and Virginia celebrated their 8th Family Reunion at the Darlington Heights Firehouse in Prince Edward County. Family members spent a fun-filled weekend together.
